WHAT ARE SHOCK ABSORBERS AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
Shock absorbers are bolted to your cars wheel and chassis. They keep your tyres in contact with the road surface and make it easier to steer and brake. Without them, the slightest bump would make the car bounce. And keep bouncing! Shock absorbers are designed to give you a comfortable and safe ride as well as keeping your tyres planted firmly on the road. The softer the ride, the less effective the shock absorber. Shock absorbers increase performance, stability and to give you a smoother, ‘safer’ ride.
