What are shipping and handling costs based on?

Our shipping charges are based on a national average weight per zone. Average weight per case is 12 pounds; 1/2 case is 6 pounds. Our shipping charges also cover packaging and handling. Each order is individually packed with tissue and packing paper to prevent breakage.
