What are seasonal facilities?
• These are facilities that are open six months of the year. They can be either summer seasonal (Apr-Sept) or winter seasonal (Oct-Mar). Inspection frequeny depends on the risk factors at a particular food establishment. Public health inspectors assess each food establishment by looking at food handling practices, population served and quanitity of foods prepared, to determine an inherent risk level.
