What are seams in a countertop?

0

Seams are where two pieces of stone are joined together on your countertop. At American Marble and Granite, our measuring technicians and installers are properly trained and have many years of experience. Exact measurements are taken and installation is done in such manners to create the thinnest seam possible. We color coordinate the akemi used in the seam so that the seam is barely visible. The color of the akemi will match the color of the stone; if the stone is light in color in one area the akemi will be colored to match, and if dark in another area, it will be darkened to match, making the seam almost invisible.
