What are screeners and how do they differ from diagnostic assessment tests?
Screeners are short, self service questionnaires which offer an indicative view as to the potential presence of issues in relation to a specific set of conditions or symptoms. ASN have made every effort to ensure that the screeners used are the most proven available screeners from internationally recognized authors and institutions. All ownership, background and author details for the screeners are provided as part of the screener results. They should not be confused with commercial assessment tools which are very detailed, must be administered by a trained professional and have been validated through an extensive norm (test group validation) process. Some of the screeners have also been validated in clinical test groups.
