What are Scrap Yards?
Scrapyards are run by scrap metal merchants who acquire scrap metal in the forms of old, unwanted vehicles and cars. They then sell the metal on to be recycled and made into new products. Crushers are used to make the metal compact and some will even melt the metal down. All the spare parts in good condition can be re-sold. Scrap yards are often open to customers to browse and purchase individual items, even dismantling the parts themselves, however at A and C we will remove the part for you. Scrap yard will sell the scrap metal by weight, as opposed to wreckers who sell each item for it’s individual value.
