What are sanitizers and why should they be used?
Another valuable service we offer to our customers after the HVAC system has been cleaned is an anti-microbial fogging. The product we use is an EPA registered Bacteriostat, Fungistat, Germistat, and All-purpose Deodorizer designed specifically for the HVAC industry. The sanitizer will help prevent contamination re-growth by killing germs, bacteria, and fungus in the ductwork. Along with controlling the growth of microorganisms, it also eliminates the unpleasant odors that are a result of this microbial growth. Because 80% of our clients have either allergy or respiratory problems, we use a product that is used by many hospitals and nursing homes. After the vents and air handler have been thoroughly cleaned the technician will apply the anti-microbial to each vent and return with an electric fogger, leaving behind a fresh scent.
