What are SAE and MCE?

A Salesperson is required to complete 60 additional classroom hours during their first year of licensure. This education is referred to as Salesperson Annual Education (SAE). Note that the hours for SAE may be completed at any time; Some students prefer to take these extra courses immediately following their required hours. After fulfilling SAE requirements, a licensee will need a 15-hour MCE (Mandatory Continuing Education) class to renew their license. Eddie Stockton teaches MCE courses periodically through Lamar State College- Orange (Provider #0496). More information about MCE and SAE is available.
