These are code letters for standard Allegro product packages that are used to accomodate various Hall circuits with rare-earth pellet in a plastic housing. The SA and SB are more mature than the others and are mechanically assembled. The SA is larger than the SB and is used predominately for single-element ICs. The SE, SG and SJ are newer Allegro packages that are overmolded in one step. The SH is a two-wire version of the SG that has wide leads for easy soldering or welding. Both the SH and SG are used predominately for differential circuits. The SE is larger than the SG/ SH and is used predominately for single-element circuits.
