What are rules for parking during snow removal?
• When a snow fall occurs, the City will first salt and/or plow those streets designated as snow routes, before proceeding to secondary or residential streets. • In order to permit City plows to clear the street as close to the curb as possible, please follow the No Parking – Street Maintenance/Sweeping signs posted for your block. • Keep in mind that a snow emergency only exists if it is declared by the City of Berwyn to be a snow emergency situation. If a snow emergency is declared by the City, a sixty (60) second wailing siren will sound between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and at that time, follow the signs on your block as to which side of the block you may park on.
