A Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) is a frame fitted to a tractor to protect the operator in the event of the tractor rolling over or back flipping. The ROPS manufacture must comply with AS 1636 Tractor Roll Over Protective Structures – Criteria or Tests or AS 2294 Earth Moving Protective Structures. Equivalent overseas standards are also acceptable.
