What are Robert Zemeckis defining traits?

I think what describes each particular movie director is talent and originality. In order to make it big in this industry, you have to create original movies like Steven Spielberg’s or James Cameron’s movies. Robert Zemeckis is certainly talented and original, creating movies like Back to the Future trilogy and Forrest Gump, which are probably the only movies I could think of that he made. I think if one were to go to the movies and watch a Robert Zemeckis movie, they’d find that he concentrates on mainly important parts of the movie. For example, in the movie Forrest Gump, Zemeckis really defines the time Forrest Gump lived, which was 60’s and 70’s. I hope that helped.
