What are resident responsibilities for WSUD?
Residents are responsible for maintaining their rainwater tank and weeding and cleaning litter from swales and vegetation buffers between the footpath from the home to the section of the verge. Residents must not drive through swales as this will reduce their effectiveness and may damage pipes buried beneath the swale. Residents must not cut grass in swales as the long grasses and leafy vegetation are necessary for their proper functioning.
