What are Required documents for renting, Donkey ?
Donkey A: Usually at least(essential) ● Photo ID (passport, drivers license) ● Bank Statement (better have enough money for bond and 2-3 months rent) ● Certificate of enrollment (if student) ● Bond 4-6 weeks (if furnished, 6 weeks) Better have(sometimes essential, sometimes not) ● Previous renting history (written document from current agent/landlord) ● Current employment history (sometimes previous as well, pay slip or something can be proof) ● Water/Electricity bill record with your name Sometimes(for expensive buildings, etc) ● Declaration letter of financial support from your parent (for student) ● 2 applications (i.e. for student, sometimes 2 names are required to be place on the tenancy contract) ● Asked to pay 3 months rent in advance (if you are not very often) These points are all up to real estate agents and landlord !!
