What are reputation and karma scores?
Reputation and Karma scores are a reflection of how your posts have been rated by others, and the ratings you have given other people. When you join, both your Karma and Reputation scores will be neutral: set to zero. By regularly contributing by posting, you increase the opportunity to raise your reputation score; by being actively involved by rating other people’s posts, you can increase your Karma score. If you receive a positive response to your posts your reputation score will increase: however, negative feedback can lead to a negative score. You can view your scores in the profile area, and you can also see the scores of others by clicking on their username in the forum area.
