What are referrer links and how do they work?
A referrer link is a unique URL that links back to your ticket page which allows you to track where your sales are coming from. If you are doing online advertising, we recommend you create a referrer link for each place you choose to advertise. To do this, login to your promoter account and go to the “Referrer” tab. In the blue bar below the tabs, select the event and the name of the referrer (For example “Facebook” or “GoogleAdWords”). You will then be presented with a special URL which you will give to the company advertising your event. All tickets purchased through that link will be tracked so you will be able to optimize your advertising by spending money only on those online campaigns that are selling tickets.
