Engines that are basically exhausted are completely taken apart, cleaned, re-machined and outfitted with new parts. After putting all parts together its performance is tested, whether it is compatible with new one or not. This new formed engine is known as rebuilt engine.

Choosing a rebuilt engine can extend the life of your car and might be a cost-effective option if you know you have serious engine trouble.
