Hi Laura I apologise for all the judgemental answers you have received so far; I personally could not have an abortion after having had a missed miscarriage last year at 15 weeks. However I do not feel others can insult your reasons or call you hurtful names as I am sure you are traumatised at having to make the decision any way. In the Uk I believe it is up to 24 weeks a baby can be aborted; they will induce labour at this late stage so you will have to go through the birthing process. As I understand the baby is born dead due to the drugs used; I new of a lady that said the hardest part was seeing a small baby placed ina bag and taken away. I think that in the circumstance of making such a decision you have to consider that if you keep baby or abort the chances are you will regret your decision at some point either way. I offer you thoughts of comfort and strength; I think you need to speak again with your GP or Nurse Practitioner or even get a second opinion.
