What are Reactive Muscles?
Reactive muscles are muscles that weaken when another muscle, the reactor, is activated. The weakened muscles can lead to muscle pain and postural alteration. The overly strong reactor muscles can cause tendon and joint pain. Reactive muscle combinations may be created by sudden injury or by repetitive muscle movements (as found in any repetitive motion like playing musical instruments, using computer keyboards, food service etc.). Read our web page on Reactive muscles. These problems can usually be corrected very quickly by using our Self-Help exercises. These unique exercises, developed by us, are described in our books and taught in our classes and lectures. If you would like to sponsor a class in your area so you can see how the techniques work, let us know and we will send you details. At the beginning you will use the techniques many times, and as the multiple muscle imbalances get corrected, your body will relax and require less balancing.
