Answer Rate of Sewerage Development Charge is as under: For colonies notified prior to 06.12.1999, sewerage development charge is based on Date of notification Rate per Sq.m. of the plot area w.e.f. 02.04.1987 Rs. 45.00 with 12% interest w.e.f. 01.11.1990 Rs. 55.00 with 12% interest w.e.f. 05.04.1994 to 05.12.1999 Rs. 100.00 with 12% interest w.e.f. 06.12.1999 to 31.03.2005 Rs. 160.00 +12% penal interest in rate every subsequent year w.e.f. 01.04.2006 w.e.f. 01.4.2005 to 31.3.2006 Rs. 179.00 w.e.f. 01.4-2006 Rs. 200.
