What are PSP skins and are they the right thing im looking for?
Skins are a great way to change the look of your PSP. Like the others, I would also suggest getting a replacement battery cover first. A stick on skin will not cover it. The words “Just a sticker” is a little ambiguous. “Just a sticker” would make me think they are paper and offer no protection. It’s like saying your PSP is just a toy, and in fact it’s a very sophisticated electronic device. Most skin makers manufacturer skins from a vinyl (plastic) material not paper, then print them with high quality printers and inks, a final lamination on top to add protection to the printed design and PSP. This is how we make ours as well. They do offer protection against scratches and dings. It’s true they are not a thick silicon or metal case. If you’re looking for protection against dropping the PSP then go with one of these thick cases.
