What are Proximate Pyrotechnics?
Ä Pyrotechnics is a field that includes fireworks, special effects, and other functions or devices based on fire, combustion, or explosives. Proximate refers to the audience. Proximate Pyrotechnics is a newly developed form of fireworks that can be used much closer to the audience than regular fireworks, as close as 15 – 50 feet away. They also can be made to have little or no smoke, making them suitable for indoor use. They can be anything from a simple “flash” on a stage to a complete miniature fireworks display shot inside a domed stadium or mall.
