What are pros/cons of a prelit artificial Christmas tree?
We have both an artificial tree that you put together branch by branch and then string the lights on it. It is the biggest chore and I hate it!!!! It’s not a thankless task, however, as the end result is amazing – it looks like a real tree. But, when it is time to put it away, no one wants to help undecorate it, the lights get all tangled again, and stacking up 192 branches in two boxes is such work! The artificial one that we have for our sunroom that is pre-lit is a three piece put-together which is a cinch. No lights to string on and get all frustrated about that work while you are putting them on and then stop once you are finished with all of them. No tangles. No tripping over cords. Everything even and symmetrical. Therein lies the con. Even all decorated, the tree still looks fake(y). Granted, it wasn’t the most expensive pre-lit tree, but it wasn’t the least expensive either. When it is time to take it down, everything goes very quick and easy, so that’s something to consider,
