What are processed foods really doing to our bodys over time?
Processed foods are lacking most of the nutritious elements required for its natural balance. These elements are also important for our nutritional health. These nutritious elements are eliminated for different reasons. Some are destroy during processing or are selectively removed in order to extend the shelf life of the end products. For example wheat flour do not have most of the B vitamin as the whole grain wheat would before it was processed. White flour has basically nothing left except carbohydrate. As a result when we consume mainly processed foods our bodies are robbed of theses very important nutrients and thus result in various health problems such as obesity, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, hormone imbalance, arthritic diseases and a whole host of other complications.
