What are private forums and how may I access them?
There are several private forums that are only available for defined subsets of bbs users. The first time you attempt to enter a private forum during your browser session you will be shown a form like the one below. Enter the required data as indicated by the red text on this sample form then click the Confirm Identity Now button. The Sightings, Distress Exchanges forum may be accessed by any TUG Member using the standard TUG Membership password (i.e. the password you use for TUG Reviews, etc.) as the forum password. Note that when you enter a message in a private forum, non-administrators must enter the forum password in an additional field for the message to be accepted by the bbs: NOTE: Some users have reported that even when they have entered the correct forum login information, they are repeatedly taken back to the data entry screen rather than entering the forum.
