What are prison camps like in North Korea?
North Korea has prison camps to punish political rebels, people who outwardly go against Kim Jong Il, "dangerous" people, or family members. Supposedly, in North Korean prison camps, inmates do manual labor behind electric fences like tending pigs, making leather, and working in labor mines until they are executed or die.
The prison camps are there to maintain order and create a sense of fear within North Korea, and accounts of people who have mysteriously escaped the prison camps describe outright violations of basic human rights.
Foreign media and press is not allowed in North Korea to capture direct evidence of these violations. North Korea portrays the country as a happy place, free of concentration camps. The only concrete evidence aside from rumor and here-say of these prison camps is first-hand accounts of survivors.
It is ridiculous that no one is doing ANYTHING but places stupid sanctions. North Korea wants a reason to go to war. I’m guessing there will be war in 6 months or less. Hopefully the U.S. won’t join in. Acai Max Cleanse
