What are preventive services?
“Preventive” services include: office visits for annual physicals, hearing exams with “routine/screening” diagnosis (not “diagnostic”), “routine” blood draw for annual physical, first colonoscopy every 5 years (either “screening” or “diagnostic” diagnosis), and “screening” PSA (prostate) tests, mammograms, PAP smears, sigmoidoscopies, DEXA scans (bone density tests).
