What are pretty native american names that arent hard to pronounce?
Most of the names you will find in searching the net are phony or incorrect. Please go to http://www.native-languages.org/baby.htm to obtain naming information. They even offer a service to find appropriate names for you for a small fee. It’s better than ending up with “Chenoa”, thinking it’s Cherokee for White Dove and then finding out it’s a false name somebody made up. EDIT: Binger!, I suggest you check this website too. ENOLA: Some sources on the Internet claim that this is a Native American name meaning “solitary.” Someone must have pulled one over on them at some point, because it’s an English name meaning “solitary.” Look at it closely… it’s the word “alone” spelled backwards. 🙂 It was invented as the name of the heroine of an old romance novel, and real-life Enolas, like Enola Gay, were named after the fictional heroine.
