What are plastic bottles and jars with the recycling symbols 1 through 7?
Instead of plastic bottles with a 1 and a 2 in a triangle on the bottom (usually water, juice and soda bottles), you can now recycle narrow neck/screw top plastic bottles like detergent, bleach and cleaning bottles. What about the sale of yellow recycling bins? Both 18 gallon and 25 gallon yellow recycling bins are now available at Baltimore City’s Kane Street Yard (111 Kane Street, across from Patterson High School). Bins can be purchased between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. 18 gallon bins are $5.00. 25 gallon bins are $12.00. Acceptable Payment Cash, Money Order or Check (addressed to City of Baltimore Director of Finance).
