What are peoples views on the mmr causing Autism?
The claim that Autism is linked to MMR was nonsense and has been thoroughly discredited. Unfortunately some kids do have autism, whoever they are and whatever you do. Skipping the MMR inoculation jab means that your child could catch one of those diseases, which are nasty and sometimes fatal. It’s difficult – any jab has a tiny risk of side-effects but the risks of not doing it are much larger. But the MMR/autism thing has become an old wives tale just because of some daft stories in the papers a few years ago. It’s difficult to accept that a healthy kid has a problem with no apparent cause, but you should rely on a doctor for medical advice.
