What are peoples experiences of permanent hair straightening?
Hello, I had my hair chemically straightened in South Korea. Sorry I haven’t got a reccommendation in the UK. My experience is that is was great – I have very thick hair, I had it coloured after the straightening. I experienced no problems. It was great, when I went swimming I didn’t have to worry about my hair going into a frizz/curl ball! I cannot recommend a hairdressers in the UK though. I now use GHD irons which are great and work as a temporary measure! Since using them, they do help ‘train’ your hair to be straighter! If you find a good hairdresser – go for it!! I had no regrets!
