What are “peeps”?
“Peep” is the name given to any member of the main species of aliens, they are who you attract to your station, and they generate the energy you need to pay for everything. The aliens that are not peeps are creatures that do not directly influence the station. Bartenders, vermin and even the Orophux all fall into this category. What does promoting a peep do? Aside from giving them a raise, it improves their happiness. Be careful, if you don’t promote peeps enough, they’ll talk with their legs and quit. Some of my employees aren’t doing what they’re meant to be doing! You need to make sure the peeps you hire aren’t criminals, if you don’t you will notice that your employees start stealing energy or killing patients. They also do this even if you don’t hire them, but not as much. The only way to stop them is to drop a Security Scuzzer near them so they can be arrested or thrown out of the station.
