What Are Paper Dolls?
Paper dolls are the old-fashioned, flat figures handmade out of paper. The reason that paper dolls are once again prevalent is they can easily be derived from free products. All that is necessary to create a paper doll are a few simple items: a template or stencil, paper and scissors. In addition to the dolls themselves, accessories and clothing can also be made from either free or very inexpensive products. Normally, accessories and clothing for paper dolls is made of thick paper or card stock, and decorated with markers, crayons, paint, beads, ribbon, sequins, or any other embellishment.
