Solar PV systems will basically amount to the equivalent of large diamond rings on your home. You will definitely want to insure them. I would advise consulting your agents as I am sure it varies by company. Probably not covered under basic homeowners. They average pricing is somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 dollars a month for a 2.4 kw system.
