What are our HOA dues spent on and why do we not see more improvement to the neighborhood including a pool?
These are a few of the costs that your dues cover: -Electricity and water for the common areas -Lawn maintenance and trash pick up (to begin this season) -Maintenance of landscaping in common areas -Pond Maintenance -Irrigation System Maintenance and improvement -Playground maintenance and improvement -Community activities -Routine maintenance of common areas including lighting and signage -Management company costs At the annual meeting on September 11, 2006, the costs to obtain a pool were discussed. There is currently no site at Seminole Pointe where a pool could be placed. The inclusion of a pool at Seminole Pointe would require an initial input of approximately $350.00 in funds from residents in addition to a drastic increase in monthly dues to cover the cost and maintenance of the pool.
