What are other possible careers within the gerontology field?
A graduate student with a concentration in gerontology may work as a gerontology worker. They may work in retirement or nursing homes or with elders living at home. Gerontology workers ensure the emotional, social and physical needs of the elderly are met. They do not provide personal care such as bathing, feeding and so on.
