What are other lunch possibilites?
There are a number of restaurants nearby. The Purple Onion and The Pita Stop, are south of the UAB’s Ed Dept. Giuseppes is west three blocks A number of fast food restaurants are near –within six blocks northeast of the UAB ED Dept., closer to UAB’s Medical Center. The problem is getting back to the sessions on time. Some people bring lunches from home, but the boxed lunches are great. There are a bank of vending machines in the Education Building too.
