Seatbelt retrofits should be obtained from manufacturers for any trucks in the yard without them. b) Operational evaluations need to be conducted on-site in actual workplace conditions. Seat belts While you will not find a reference to seatbelts in the actual regulation, every operator manual almost without exception will refer to the use of seat belts for safe operation. It is, therefore, a requirement that OSHA will cite, if not followed by employees.
