The USA has no standards as far as non-food products and organic products are concerned. The USDA Organic stamp may be on everything from quinoa to soy milk, but it won’t be seen on makeup or face wash. If you do see it, it’s not always guaranteed that these products are as safe as they sound. A few more things you should know about organic hair products: • They are 100% Organic. Your products are made from organic ingredients. These products may have the USDA seal of approval. • Organic. This means that they are close to perfection but not exactly. They have about 95% material in them that is organic. • Made With Organic Ingredients. This is a little amount and can have as little as 2% or as much as 75% organics of the end products and such products will not have the USDA stamp of approval as authentication.
