What are ‘open’ and ‘closed’ playgroups?
Open playgroups welcome Cosmo Polite members with any age child(ren) and are held in public spaces. Cosmo Polite always attends to help answer questions and connect people. Attendance is free of charge. Closed playgroups are attended by a selection of members (4-10 parents), with children of the same age range. The group meets weekly for consistency. Cosmo Polite provides beverages and appetizers for the adults, as well as healthy snacks for the children. A guest-parent is present for extra child care. Meeting is at a private and child-friendly area. The ‘when, where and duration’ of the playgroup depend on the parents’ preferences. Attendance is between E5 and E10,-, depending on the parents’ wishes.
