What are “Nylabones,” and are they ok for my dog?
Nylabones are another product we recommend. This is a healthy alternative to rawhide that provides relief for your dog from the discomfort of teething, it relieves separation anxiety, and promotes healthy gums and teeth. However, for aggressive chewers, the rubber nylabones and kongs are great alternatives to the hard nylon version, so as not to wear down the teeth. The hard nylon nylabones will wear down the dog’s teeth if the dog is a big chewer. They have softer versions of the nylon that won’t wear down the teeth as well. A variety of different textures is a good choice for your dog and will keep him more satisfied.
