Check vitals every 15minutes and contractions carefully. Check the protocol/policy of the health care agency and follow then. A doctor must remain on site. The worse S.E. is rupture of the uterus. A patient was being given this drug and the doctor told me he was leaving. I told him that I was stopping the drug because he needed to remain on site. He did not leave.
