PITTSBURGH — Nightly Lottery drawings are being broadcast on WTAE-TV, Channel 4, in the Pittsburgh viewing area. In the Johnstown/Altoona/State College viewing area Lottery drawings are available on WTAJ, Channel 10. “Lottery players in the Pittsburgh and west-central Pennsylvania regions will need to tune into different television stations to watch the live drawing show beginning July 1,” said Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees. “Players in other areas of the state will continue to see the drawing on the stations they are used to watching.” The six stations to carry the live 6:59 p.m. nightly drawings and the 10:59 p.m. Powerball drawings on Wednesdays and Saturdays include: WTAE-TV, Channel 4 – Pittsburgh; WTAJ, Channel 10 – Johnstown/Altoona/State College; WPVI, Channel 6 – Philadelphia; WGAL, Channel 8 – Harrisburg/Lancaster/Lebanon/York; WJET, Channel 24 – Erie; and WNEP, Channel 16 – Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
