When using this method of education, it is typical for each teacher to create her own album of presentations. The album is her personal plan of study in preparation to teach the child. Ellen Yale Stevens in her book, A Guide to the Montessori Method, warns that we should guard the Montessori method from a hasty, unconsidered, too literal adoption. She asks that we use Montessoris materials with flexibility and freedom while holding fast to the principles.
