What are Nicaraguas major mountain ranges?
Answer Hi Tracie, Cordillera Isabelia seems to be the most prominent feature. Like for all of the Americas, a continental divide passes north-south through Honduras too forming the “Central Highlands”, like an intermediate between the Andes and Rockies, with plains on each side sloping toward the Atlantic Ocean in the west and Mosquito Coast in the east.
