What are natural ways of helping to induce labour?
• Keep busy, prepare something for every day. • Allow your partner to spoil you, encourage lots of treats!. • Let all your friends and family know that you will be in touch when the big event has taken place so the phone will not be hopping and you can relax more. • Get plenty of rest and relaxation. Take naps, put your feet up on the sofa, read, listen to music, do what you like to do when relaxing. • Contact your midwife or GP if you think your labour has started. Familiarise yourself with your antenatal notes and the stages of labour. Remember your exercises.
