What Are Myopia, Hyperopia, Astigmatism & Presbyopia?
Myopia, better known as nearsightedness or short-sightedness, is the most common type of refractive error and is a condition that results in blurred distance vision. This occurs when the eyeball is too long or the cornea has too much curvature. If you have myopia, objects in the distance appear out of focus and may lead you to squint or strain when trying to see distant objects clearly.
