1. Lower campus modem pool (free) Now that ITS has discontinued the modem pool from the Health Sciences Center, the only free internet available is from the lower campus modem pool. There is a time limit of 3 hours per week on this service. There are two phone numbers that can be used: (801)924-0783 will give you a connection for up to 60 minutes (801)924-0639 will give you a connection for up to 15 minutes (your connection time is less, but the chances of you getting a busy signal are also less). After you have your username and password, simply enter either the 15 or 60 minute phone number into your computer’s internet connection settings.
