What are my training requirements for TDG?
The training you provide must always be specific to the worker’s role (shipper, handler or driver) AND to the dangerous goods that they transport, offer for transport or handle. The TDG Regulations, sec 6.1(1), require that 6.1(1) A person who handles, offers for transport or transports dangerous goods must be: (a) adequately trained and hold a training certificate in accordance with this Part; or (b) perform those activities in the presence and under the direct supervision of a person who is adequately trained and who holds a training certificate in accordance with this Part.
