Here is your checklist, though the order isn’t crucial: • Check the MFI affiliate list to see if there’s already someone near you who is actively creating an affiliate. • If there is no local contact, or this contact is inactive, then just let the office know you’re interested in forming one! E-mail to member@mindfreedom.org about your interest and area. • If you have questions, consider e-mailing to Frank Blankenship, who is Chair of the MindFreedom Affiliate Support Committee. E-mail to Frank at virginia@mindfreedom.org • Consider joining the MindFreedom Grassroots e-mail list so you can ask questions, exchange ideas, support, tips. You can join by clicking here. • As an option, consider having a MindFreedom e-mail “alias” for your affiliate. More than one person can share this e-mail address to help you answer inquiries.
